The other day, I had dinner with my wife and she was discussing this topic. She said, “I used to have the typical doctor visit and take my pill for three months. It seemed like it was working well, until I started having heartburn, which is also associated with high blood pressure. So I went to see my cardiologist and he put me on a different kind of medication, which helped a bit. Then I went back to my doctor and he put me on maintenance medication, which was even worse.”

Other people use herbs for what is considered dangerous high blood pressure. I would advise against this.
